Yangon’s elusive ‘affordable housing’ promise leaves city residents disenchanted

As more and more people in Yangon chase fewer and fewer available homes, pressures are growing on the government to offer affordable housing and accessible financing methods, say urban planning experts. Nearly 80 percent of Yangon's population rent their homes.
