Chindwin River exceeds danger level Posted: 20 Jul 2016 02:30 PM PDT The Department of Meteorology and Hydrology announced yesterday that water levels along the Chindwin River exceeded their danger marks at three locations in Sagaing Region. Waters pushed past the mark by 2 feet (0.6 metres) at Paungbyin township, and 1.5 feet at both Homalin and Mawlaik. |
