Local doctor takes lead in tackling TB Posted: 24 Mar 2017 12:04 AM PDT Myanmar citizen Dr Htin Lin Aung is a postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Microbiology and Immunology, University of Otago, New Zealand. He leads the Tuberculosis (TB) Control Research at the university as well as the Myanmar TB Program which is under the Ministry of Health and Sports. The University of Otago has been cooperating in research on controlling the disease in Myanmar since 2015. |
